New logo for almost finished guitar

Finally, the final coat of lacquer on this headstock with the new logo. I should be ready with everything with the finish in the next couple of weeks and then install all the parts.

March tip of the month

Here is the next tip of the month for March with no pun intended. For all those that have a bunch of DC adapter tips hanging around; you don't want them touching medal when they are not plugged into an effects pedal and making a loud noise. I take vacuum caps and cover the ends of those I am not using to avoid this. The size that works perfect is 7/32" vacuum cap that you can get at any auto parts store.

Getting closer to finishing

Here I finished with the staining of the headstock and the body and neck. I just need to spray on the lacquer and I'm on my way to the final stages.

Finishing stages of custom guitar build

Here is the custom guitar build I have been working on for quite a while now. I have just now got around to working on the finishing so I can finally complete it. This stage is where I used some grain filler in rough form to fill all the pores in the mahogany neck and body.

Bass Guitar neck pocket re-route

Here is a bass guitar that I was given to route a new pocket for a 5 string bass neck. The body was originally made for a 4 string.
Here is the finished guitar that the customer painted and put together himself. I did the neck pocket re-route, Fret dress, setup, intonation and tuning. I think everything turned out really well.

Guitar Repair for a friend

A friend of mine found this in a dumpster and it needed a little work. Not that you could tell but all the electronics were rewired and an input jack and custom jack plate was made as well as the usual installation of strings and an intonation done. Sounded pretty good when all together and finished.

3rd Stage of guitar

Here is the third stage of a guitar I plan on finishing this year, hopefully within a couple months. Still in the rough form with some of the parts laid out to see the potential finished product.
